Content Creator & Social Media Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative, energetic, and trend-aware Content Creator & Social Media Manager to join our team in Achimota.

The ideal candidate will combine strong social media management skills with hands-on content creation and be comfortable appearing in videos, conducting interviews, and experimenting with new content ideas.

This role is ideal for someone who is constantly online, understands social media trends, knows what makes content engaging, and can turn ideas into compelling digital content.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and support the day-to-day execution of social media content across relevant platforms.

* Monitor social media trends, emerging formats, viral content, and audience behaviors to identify content opportunities.

* Develop creative and engaging content ideas aligned with the organization's brand and objectives.

* Create short-form videos, social media posts, interviews, reels, and other digital content.

* Appear confidently in videos and participate in interviews, social experiments, and other content formats.

* Take ownership of content ideas from concept development through production and publishing.

* Collaborate with other team members, creatives, and external contributors where necessary to produce content.

* Support the development of a consistent and engaging social media presence.

* Research competitors and relevant brands to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices.

* Track content performance and provide insights to improve future content.

* Keep current with changes in social media platforms, algorithms, trends, and content formats.

Requirements

* Proven experience in social media management and/or content creation.

* Strong understanding of major social media platforms and current digital trends.

* Experience creating short-form video content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, or YouTube.

* Strong communication and presentation skills.

* Confidence appearing on camera and participating in interviews.

* Ability to generate creative content ideas and translate them into engaging content.

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced and highly creative environment.

* Good understanding of social media analytics and content performance.

* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.

Contract & Compensation

Location: Achimota

Contract: 3–6 months, with potential for extension based on performance

Monthly Compensation: GHC3,000
